Luxury Sales Director Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Luxury Sales Director at Fairmont Pacific Rim. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the leisure, VIP and entertainment markets for one of the world's premier luxury hotels.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits and perks, including eligibility for bonuses and/or salary increases, an extensive benefits package, and a company-matched pension plan.

Job Description

As a Luxury Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the leisure, VIP and entertainment markets. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with key travel agency partners, organizing and participating in sites familiarization trips, sales calls, sales trips and industry trade shows to promote the hotel's reputation. You will also be responsible for achieving sales activities and all objectives outlined in the annual marketing plan, exceeding personal sales goals, and proactively developing relationships with local partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years hotel sales experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree preferred
  • Multiple years of experience in senior sales role in luxury hotel environment

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and computer literacy in various applications and tools. You will also need to be goal-oriented, competitive and well-organized, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
