Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance and construction projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the identification and verification of required maintenance work, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule in-house or sub-contractor work, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Develop and manage the performance of patrol staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work reporting and timesheets.
  • Manage and monitor highway project assets and materials, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Investigate and report accidents/incidents, working closely with the Office Manager and Health and Safety Manager.
  • Responsible for completing and updating schedules for winter staff, ensuring compliance with the Collective Agreement.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma (minimum), with equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum three years' work experience in construction and/or road maintenance industry (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (required).

Work Environment

The incumbent will split working time between office and field work, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate to high noise levels.
