Job Description

Job Title: Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Team Members to ensure exceptional Guest Experience and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management:
    • Lead by example and demonstrate the importance of treating every Team Member and Guest with respect
    • React immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
    • Encourage a fun and exciting work environment
    • Report to Restaurant Manager, Owner or General Manager on Team Member performance (Positive or Negative)
    • Train, orientate and monitor new Team Members
    • Assist in ensuring optimal Team Member coverage at all times and work various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels
  • Hospitality Management:
    • Lead by example by demonstrating that the Guest is top priority
    • Respond to Guests with sense of urgency and in a friendly manner
    • Assist in running of company-wide incentive programs
  • Operations Management:
    • Display knowledge of and work in compliance with applicable legislation
    • Comply and enforce all Tim Hortons Standards
    • Responsible for shift cash procedures
    • Keep current on all new information
    • Assist Manager/Owner in driving sales and transactions during the shift
    • Complete all shift documentation (Logs, walk thru, waste recording etc)
    • Escalate to Management any issues or concerns
  • Health and Safety:
    • Work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
    • Know, understand and follow safe work practices and procedures
    • Use or wear PPE as required
    • Report all injuries/illness, unsafe conditions and security incidents to Manager/Owner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in QSR
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Flexible schedule required between 4:30am and 10:30pm
