Customer Service Representative Role

The role of a Motivator at GoodLife Fitness is pivotal in delivering an exceptional experience for our Members and guests. As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming environment, ensuring every interaction is positive and engaging.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Pleasant and Present Greetings: Be approachable, friendly, and courteous to every Member and Potential Member.
  • Front Desk Expertise: Efficiently check-in Members, direct Potential Members, and handle incoming calls.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Possess in-depth knowledge of Membership options, services, and amenities to effectively assist Members.
  • Sales Opportunities: Identify and seize opportunities to sell memberships, services, and products to enhance Member experiences.
  • Fitness Knowledge: Assist Members with questions about FitFix and Cardio machines, promoting a culture of wellness and fitness.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle comments, suggestions, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to ensure long-term success and career growth.
  • Cleanliness Standards: Maintain cleanliness standards by completing Club runs and cleaning tasks as required.

You Will Thrive If:

  • CPR-A & AED Certification
  • Smart Tan Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Interpersonal Savvy: Develop strong relationships with colleagues and Members through effective communication and diplomacy.
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize Member satisfaction, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Team Contribution: Demonstrate a collaborative spirit, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Approachability: Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for Members to interact with you.
  • Knowledge of the Fitness Industry: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with Members, colleagues, and management.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: An asset in providing top-notch service and support.
