Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - Transportation to lead our transportation operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business strategy to drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a transportation strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a team of transportation managers to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Manage transportation budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • University degree and/or post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years senior management experience in a transportation setting.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
