Job Summary

Akhira Trucking INC is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Dispatcher, Trucks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Logistics Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, maintain work records and logs, and process and transmit information to coordinate activities.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, and ensuring accuracy of completed time sheets and payroll.
  • Operations Management: Organize warehouse and work areas, maintain vehicle operator work records, and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work, and the advertised start date.
