FutureSight is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Chief of Staff, who will serve as a trusted partner to our Vice President of Operations and Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for venture capital and a keen ability to grasp the business swiftly.

This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Toronto office, requiring the successful candidate to support the leadership team in managing investor relations, finance, and operations for FutureSight and our portfolio companies.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting Limited Partner Fundraising activities: marketing, sales outreach, due diligence, pitch preparation, and regular LP communications
  • Proactively sourcing, managing, and tracking relationships within the FutureSight investor community and partner networks
  • Assisting with special projects: establishing metrics, building financial models, reviewing partnership agreements, building founder development programs, identifying board members, experts, and more

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 3-5+ years of business and sales operations, community building, platform, or similar experience
  • Venture capital, startup, or investment banking experience is preferred
  • A deep hunger for venture capital and startup success
  • Knowledge of the technology/startup space
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation (both virtual and in-person) skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management, organizational skills, and process management
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to excel in behind-the-scenes work
