Auberge du Pommier is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of cooks and manage kitchen operations to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive culinary innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve their full potential and drive business growth.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and receiving procedures to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Previous Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a similar environment.
  • Passion for food and culinary excellence.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and vision.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships, with strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Reputation for paying fanatical attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a performance-based culture and motivate team members by setting the example.
