Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MJ BYRNES IRISH PUB INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet customer expectations.
  • Culinary Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve exceptional results, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

35 to 40 hours per week.
