We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Oracle Developer to join our team at Newport Williams in downtown Toronto. This is a full-time opportunity with a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing business solutions that enhance existing Oracle Payment functionalities while ensuring feasibility. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate data extracts and analyses to support business decision-making and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical solution designs to mitigate risks and address security issues.
  • Create scripts to implement solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Conduct unit testing to verify that applications function as intended.
  • Prepare and manage release changes for script deployment across various environments.
  • Collaborate in designing business solutions that enhance existing Oracle Payment functionalities while ensuring feasibility.
  • Generate data extracts and analyses to support business decision-making and analysis.
  • Offer support for linked testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and resolve any reported defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Payments, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger modules within Oracle E-Business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structures related to AP, IBY, PO, AR, GL, and FND.
  • Proven experience with Java and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
  • Proficient programming skills in Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Unix shell scripts, and SQL tuning.
  • Prior development experience with major customizations and extensions in Oracle EBS R12.2.
