Job Title: Welder

United Tarps And Repair Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing or soldering equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

As a Welder at United Tarps And Repair Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a team of skilled professionals. You will be required to work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Ability to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
Language:

English.

Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week.
