Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Italian Metal Works Ltd. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. You will be working with heavy loads, dusty and hot conditions, and noisy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle heavy loads
