Job Title: Welder

A&G Aluminum & Ironworks Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and gas welding machines
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum alloys, steel, iron, and heavy metals
  • Develop and implement efficient welding techniques to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
