About the Role

Cuso International is seeking a skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team in Grenada. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in empowering vulnerable women and girls and civil society groups to access and use gender-responsive programs and services offered by government institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design of community engagement mechanisms such as communication campaigns and community sessions.
  • Build the capacity of government staff through training on best practices for community engagement.
  • Work closely with Gender Experts in each country to implement the BLUEPRINTS project.
  • Coordinate support to the Gender Divisions and ministries through a local In-Country Program Support Officer.

Requirements

  • University degree in communications, marketing, public relations or social sciences related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a position related to communications and marketing.
  • Experience working with government agencies and senior management.
  • Experience in training and facilitation, as well as developing marketing tools and assets.
