We are seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase community engagement and participation in our programs and services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver comprehensive marketing campaigns, content schedules, and marketing materials to meet our goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage tactical plans for advertising and content schedules for both online and traditional media as per our marketing strategy.
- Oversee our online digital presence across various platforms, ensuring prompt, appropriate responses to public inquiries and cohesion with other ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Manage online content, including social media, Google, Trip Advisor, etc., for comments, posts, paid advertising, and reputation.
- Plan and manage email and social marketing campaigns to enhance engagement with target audiences.
- Perform website updates to ensure accuracy and current content.
- Conduct regular website quality assurance checks to ensure all website plug-ins are up to date and arrange for website updates as required, while maintaining website SEO and implementing best practices by managing descriptions, captions, alt text, and more.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $55,000-$70,000 per year, as well as a substantial benefits package with paid sick leave benefits and employer-paid health and dental benefits. Our employees belong to the Public Employees Pension Plan with employee contributions being matched by the employer.
