This is an exciting opportunity to join the Affordable Housing Fund or Canada Greener Affordable Housing fund teams or the Apartment Construction Loan Program as a Specialist, Multi-Unit Underwriter (Housing Program).

We're looking for a skilled professional with financial analysis expertise and strong client relationship-building skills to help achieve our government program objectives. As a key member of our team, you'll apply sound judgement and decision-making practices based on complex financial analysis while making recommendations.

You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and various levels of government to offer advice, support, and alternative solutions. Your communication skills will be essential in explaining decisions, interpreting policies, and responding to inquiries related to CMHC's housing programs.

This role involves reviewing, prioritizing, and approving loan, subsidy, and contribution applications while assessing financial viability. You'll also manage risk by exercising prudence and due diligence while reviewing, assessing, and approving applications.

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, working in partnership with clients, stakeholders, and various levels of government to deliver CMHC's housing programs.

With a competitive salary range of $ 83,038.35 to $ 103,797.93, based on qualifications and experience, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in real estate finance.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce and at least five years' experience in construction financing, real estate, financial markets, or credit risk analysis for Multi-Unit properties.
