About the Role

PET VALU is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist to support the planning and execution of all key corporate events, including conferences, tradeshows, and regional meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create event briefs, workback schedules, project plans, and other standard tools used in the event industry.
  • Support the events team in developing event plans, concepts, themes, and designs.
  • Manage conference, trade show, and sponsorship logistics, including processing forms, payments, invoicing, and sponsorship deliverables.
  • Coordinate database management and registration processes, as well as travel arrangements for events requiring transportation.
  • Contribute to event budgets to ensure revenue and expenses are kept within established boundaries.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of all event invoices.
  • Perform physical tasks during event activations, including lifting up to 40lbs.
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time.

Requirements

  • Experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex assignments with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Professional maturity and ability to remain calm under pressure.
