About the Role:

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoices, processing payments, and performing data entry tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage invoices, including verifying bills of lading and invoices for freight and set-up charges
  • Investigate and resolve short payments and debit memos
  • Follow up on overdue accounts via phone and email
  • Process cheques and manage payable invoices to freight and brokerage vendors
  • Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with special projects
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, and customer service
  • Experience with P.O. generating, tracking, billing, and providing details to clients
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment dealing with accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of NAFTA certificates regarding cross-border transportation of products
  • Accurate data entry skills and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to work effectively with Sage accounting software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
