Senior Manager, Domestic Tax

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.

You will apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business. Additionally, you will provide both technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments, and ensure quality control standards are in place.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating client business processes and policies
  • Advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs
  • Developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective
  • Applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues
  • Providing technical and project management leadership to team members
  • Ensuring quality control standards are in place

We are looking for a candidate with 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years. You should have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance. You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
