Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in addiction treatment to provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve high standards of patient care by assessing patients' needs, planning nursing interventions, providing evidence-based care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and cooperation.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of medical/psychiatric experience; prior experience in addiction treatment an asset.
- Basic computer skills required for electronic medical records and other clinical systems.
