Job Title: Senior Surface Land Administrator

Progress Land Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surface Land Administrator to join our team of committed professionals. As a key member of our land services team, you will be responsible for providing expert land administration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely land administration services, including document preparation, transmittals, and notifications.
  • Manage land data, including survey, construction, and third-party line lists, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process Crown Land dispositions and third-party requests, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer required notification and mail-out programs, and maintain project checklists to ensure files are up-to-date and complete.
  • Prepare and assemble final packages digitally and in paper form for clients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of land administration systems, including Spin II, ETS, and AER OneStop.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including lawyers, engineers, and surveyors, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Land Administration certificate or equivalent experience in a land administration position.
  • Valid Alberta Commissioners for Oaths appointment, and ability to obtain appointments in other provinces.
  • Knowledge of First Nations/Metis consultation process and regulatory acts, including AER, BCER, AUC, CER, and Land and Property Rights Tribunal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize urgent tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact positively and professionally with coworkers and clients.
