Senior Surface Land Administrator

Progress Land Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surface Land Administrator to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our land services team, you will be responsible for providing expert land administration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize PLS Land Data Management System to manage land data and documents
  • Prepare and process surface leases, right of way agreements, and other land-related documents
  • Identify and manage third-party requests and process agreements for construction readiness
  • Update and maintain land data for survey, construction, and third-party line lists
  • Ensure all documentation is saved correctly and administer required notification and mail out programs
  • Provide professional and effective correspondence with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, surveyors, and industry peers
  • Manage project checklists to ensure files are up-to-date and complete
  • Register rights at LTO offices and manage payments to landowners and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams
  • Land Administration certificate or equivalent experience in a land administration position
  • Valid Alberta Commissioners for Oaths appointment, as well as other provinces
  • Knowledge of Spin II, ETS systems, and AER OneStop, AEP EDS system, BCER Applications, ILRR, myLTSA, CORES, and ISCKnowledge of First Nations/Metis Consultation process
  • Familiarity and expertise in different Regulatory Acts and their corresponding guidelines
