Accounting Technician Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at Clonard Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Accounting Support: Provide support with journal entries, financial reporting, and tax returns.
  • Cultural Competency: Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities for Indigenous workers and provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Newcomers: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Criminal record check
  • English language proficiency

Work Environment

  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
