Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple facilities, overseeing operational budgets, and ensuring the safety and security of staff and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operational budget for the Area of Responsibility (AOR), ensuring effective resource allocation, cost control, and profitability.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting and strategic labor planning efforts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Site Leaders and Operations Managers, ensuring alignment with company values, mission, and objectives.
- Ensure the safety and security of both staff and inventory by identifying potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- ~8+ years of management experience in high velocity omni-channel fulfillment operations, with a proven track record of managing multiple facilities or operations with superior outcomes.
- ~ Experience monitoring financial performance within a fulfillment center/distribution center, including cost per order, cost per unit, throughput, orders per hour, and more.
- ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executives on operational performance.
