About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Happy Faces Childcare & after school care centre Lt. As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the preparation of snacks and the arrangement of rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities through engaging activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our childcare programs.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
