Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Director

At Daniels Health & Sharpsmart, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and maintain permits and licenses for hazardous materials in Canada.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies for transportation and site permits and updates.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and communication to employees on compliance matters.
  • Manage compliance-related projects and monitor progress.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate/advanced level in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
