Job Title: Mental Health Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at JAZ Community Support Limited. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health disabilities, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients with mental health disabilities, including those with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other related conditions. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized plans, provide life skills training, and facilitate access to community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients with mental health disabilities
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to meet clients' needs and goals
  • Facilitate access to community resources, including healthcare services, social services, and other related programs
  • Provide life skills training, including daily living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
