Job Title: Mental Health Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at JAZ Community Support Limited. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health disabilities, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients with mental health disabilities, including those with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other related conditions. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized plans, provide life skills training, and assist with daily living activities. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients with mental health disabilities
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to meet clients' needs and goals
  • Provide life skills training and assist with daily living activities
  • Work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
