Foilocn is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Control Centre (OCC), you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our critical infrastructure, ensuring the availability and performance of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mainframe, UNIX, and Windows servers, as well as storage and network devices 24/7/365.
  • Respond to high-priority requests and incidents, participating in system recovery and service restoration efforts.
  • Implement changes and updates to mainframe, midrange, and network platforms.
  • Ensure service level commitments are met, collaborating with stakeholders and broader public sector agencies.
  • Participate in developing and delivering related training, communications, and procedural documentation.
Evaluation Breakdown:

The evaluation will consist of six questions, each assessing a specific skill or experience. The questions will focus on:

  • Experience supporting large ZOS mainframe systems.
  • Knowledge of Unix and Wintel servers and network peripherals.
  • Incident and Change Management activities with strong documentation and communication skills.
  • System and Application Monitoring Tools.
  • Service Management Tools such as eSMT, CIT, Remedy, and ITIL.
  • Communications, Collaborations, and analytics tools.

We are looking for a resource with a strong background in mainframe operations, system monitoring, and service management. If you have the skills and experience we're looking for, please submit your application.
