About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Leader to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans to support business objectives and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide strategic communications advice and guidance to senior leaders and business groups.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver effective communication solutions.
  • Lead or participate in defining communication plans to influence behavior and drive business results.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication solutions and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant industry experience in a communications leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and fintech.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
