Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Banff Hospitality Collective. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of servers and bartenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Set up the restaurant for a successful service by managing FOH team members
  • Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in managing restaurant operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food delivery
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations
  • Identify and address any operational issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

  • ProServe certification
  • Previous serving and bartending experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Strong work ethic and a positive team player
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset
