The Salvation Army is seeking Seasoned Community Support Professionals to join our team for the Christmas season. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our Christmas Kettle Campaign and Hamper Program.
Job Summary:
We are looking for individuals who are patient, people-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for assisting with the organization of our TipTap program, assembling and preparing Kettle Campaign supplies, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is stocked and charged.
You will also assist with setting up and taking down kettle locations, counting kettles, and participating in the Kettle Campaign Kick Off event. Additionally, you will provide updates and support to the coordinator on key aspects of the campaign.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization of our TipTap program
- Assemble and prepare Kettle Campaign supplies
- Ensure all necessary equipment is stocked and charged
- Assist with setting up and taking down kettle locations
- Count kettles
- Participate in the Kettle Campaign Kick Off event
- Provide updates and support to the coordinator on key aspects of the campaign
- Fulfill other tasks as assigned by the coordinator
Requirements:
- Completed High School or equivalent education
- Related experience is an asset

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Patient when dealing with the public
- Honest, courteous, and punctual
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced office setting
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated/disciplined
- Valid Driver's License
