Caring Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caring Support Professional to join our team at Barrie's Special Care Homes. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working 30-40 hours per week.
About the RoleThis role involves providing personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. A secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a related field are required.
Key Responsibilities- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding and toileting;
- Provide companionship and social interaction to enhance the quality of life for our residents;
- Collect specimens and perform other tasks as needed;
This role requires a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks involved. The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, and move with ease, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field;
- Punctuality, reliability, and strong organizational skills;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment;
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
