Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in our outpatient IV therapy setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, planning and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. Your expertise in peripheral IV initiation and central venous catheter management will be invaluable in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and collect information from various sources to determine their individualized care needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in IV therapy.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • One (1) year of recent related experience with peripheral IV initiation and central venous catheter management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes as required.
