Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in Abbotsford, B.C. as a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN), Psychiatric High Acuity/Clinical Decision Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with mental health and substance use issues.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct initial and ongoing mental health and substance use client assessments and provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- At least one (1) year of recent related mental health experience in an acute, tertiary, or community setting working with clients experiencing an acute episode of serious, complex, and persistent mental illness and their families.
