**Registered Nurse (RN), Op-Oncology Clinic**
**Job Summary:** Provide holistic nursing care to oncology patients, assessing, intervening, and coordinating treatment, while maintaining a safe environment and promoting patient education and empowerment.
**Job Description:**
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Op-Oncology Clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, injections, and IV fluids
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and care
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and self-care
* Promote a culture of safety and excellence, identifying and reporting any safety concerns
**Requirements:**
* Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
* Current CPR (Level C) certification
* One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
