Job Title: Senior Enterprise IT Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise IT Architect to join our team at the University of Alberta. As a key member of our Information Services & Technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex enterprise-level solutions using Oracle PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud Services
  • Lead development and integration initiatives, and provide technical expertise to the service delivery team
  • Collaborate with business services staff, Enterprise Applications staff, and external service providers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements
  • Ensure that delivered solutions are technically documented for operations and maintenance purposes
  • Manage technical assets and participate in application enhancement, feature enablement, upgrades, or new implementation projects
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in configuring, developing, integrating, implementing, and supporting large-scale and complex enterprise-level technologies
  • Strong technical qualifications in implementing and/or supporting enterprise resource planning systems and/or student information systems
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, including C# and PHP
  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 and associated developer tools and technology
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) syntax for relational database management
