Job Title: Senior Enterprise IT Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise IT Architect to join our team at the University of Alberta.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of the University's Enterprise Applications solutions, tools, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical design and development of complex solutions using Oracle PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud Services.
  • Collaborate with business services staff, Enterprise Applications staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring adherence to application, data, and integration development methodologies and standards.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to functional staff, external resources, and university departments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in enterprise resource planning systems and student information systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in configuring, developing, integrating, implementing, and supporting large-scale and complex enterprise-level technologies.
  • Strong technical qualifications in implementing and/or supporting enterprise resource planning systems and/or student information systems.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, including C# and PHP.
  • Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 (or higher) and associated developer tools and technology.
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) syntax for relational database management.
