Hotel Front Desk Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team at Ramada 100 Mile House. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient daily operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Negotiation and Procurement: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates for hotel materials and services.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings.
  • Guest Relations: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.

Requirements: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, College/CEGEP education, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
