We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Safety Specialist to join our team at Acuren. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate safety activities on project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective safety strategies and protocols to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of safety plans and procedures.
- NCSO Certificate, OH&S Certificate, or Diploma required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field safety-related disciplines.
- Proven track record in safety management processes, including participation in safety committees, working groups, audits, and inspections in heavy industrial environments.
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of NDE/NDT and Rope Access an asset.
- Heavy industrial operations experience an asset.
