Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
    • Design, implement, and communicate health, safety, security, and wellness policies.
    • Manage Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), return-to-work plans, modified work duties, training, and documentation.
  • Investigate Workplace Incidents
    • Lead and support thorough investigations into workplace incidents.
    • Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative measures to improve safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Actively participate in and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and assist in implementing recommendations and initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety.

Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education and/or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience in an Occupational Health & Safety Role
  • Minimum 1 Year of Experience in Managing Security Alarms and Video Surveillance
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Effectively Communicate in English
