About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Support Lead to join our client-growing team at Summit Search Group.

This key role will play a vital part in aligning departmental goals with the organization's strategic priorities, supporting operational excellence, and driving new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for hazardous materials handling, collection, transportation, and disposal.
  • Work closely with the Compliance & Operations team to verify service provider certifications and safety standards.
  • Manage supply chain logistics to maximize operational efficiency and maintain compliance and safety standards.
  • Oversee fulfillment activities, ensuring inventory needs align with program requirements.
  • Cordinate logistics for special projects and R&D initiatives, overseeing shipping and inventory management.
  • Monitor and assess service provider performance, contributing to regular reporting on service levels and quality.
  • Support the integration of new service providers, ensuring seamless onboarding and alignment with company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for greater efficiency both internally and across partner operations.
  • Maintain daily compliance with R2, ISO, and OHSAS standards, as well as any relevant governmental requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management, or occupational safety, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hazardous Material certifications (US 49CFR, Canada TDG) are beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Project Management certification or experience is preferred.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$100,000 based on industry standards and location.
