Maintenance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Halliwell Consulting Corp.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and optimize maintenance resource allocation to ensure efficient execution of planned and unplanned work.
- Authorize procurement of materials and resources necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Monitor MRO inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance work content, ensuring optimal utilization of skilled trades.
- Collaborate with operators to create autonomous maintenance checklists, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure completion of PMs within defined timeframes and according to schedule, minimizing downtime impact.
- Foster a culture of feedback among maintenance technicians, facilitating the identification of additional follow-up work requirements.
- Contribute to the development of departmental objectives (KPIs), aligning maintenance goals with overall business strategy.
- Promote effective communication during daily production meetings, providing equipment downtime updates as necessary.
- Provide off-hours support to the production department, ensuring seamless operations.
- Coordinate resource allocation during major shutdown periods, guaranteeing timely execution of activities.
- Aid maintenance personnel in troubleshooting activities, minimizing downtime impact through collaborative problem-solving.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting principles.
- Maintain a minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance roles within an automotive manufacturing environment; possess a licensed trade qualification or strong engineering background.
- Nurture basic knowledge of Lean Principles and Concepts, leveraging this expertise to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude, applying problem-solving skills to complex issues.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, exhibiting a strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $95,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
