Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker - Building and Grounds to join our team at Happy Motel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel's physical plant.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the motel's facilities are in good working order, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Painting and Drywall Repair: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance of our facilities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. Free parking is available on site.
