The Role

We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our Professional Services team as a Senior Project Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Energy & Utility control system deployment projects across Canada, the US, and beyond. You'll leverage your project management expertise, communication, facilitation, and mediation skills to improve project delivery processes. Your impact will be felt in contract management, customer relationships, and the successful delivery of Digital Grid Management Projects.

Your Impact

  • Develop and implement project strategies aligned with business unit priorities.
  • Lead and coach assigned project managers to ensure project success.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with vendors to support project needs.
  • Participate in sales demos, customer meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our services.
  • Develop and oversee project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage contract changes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate project implementation plans to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure projects are properly tested, approved, and documented to meet quality standards.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance/Accounting, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally managing projects with a scope of $5 million or more.
  • Experience with highly technical and complex projects.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Business leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with PERT/CPM and Microsoft Project.
  • Electric utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project experience preferred.
  • International project management experience and a solid understanding of international cultures and business transactions.
