Job Summary

As an Automatic Door Technician at Flynn Group of Companies, you will be responsible for servicing and performing preventative maintenance on automatic door operating equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment. This includes performing service and repair work in a profitable and proper manner, recording productive time versus travel time, and maintaining accurate work records and parts used at each job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and perform preventative maintenance on automatic door operating equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment
  • Perform service and repair work in a profitable and proper manner
  • Record productive time versus travel time
  • Maintain accurate work records and parts used at each job
  • Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and standard as notified through published communications
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log
  • Maintain good customer relations and customer service
  • Assist and instruct others in install/service methods

Requirements
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • AADAM Accreditation
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work in various climates
  • Ability to work overhead
  • Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50-75lbs
  • Flexible work schedule

Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Prior experience servicing automated doors
  • Prior experience in the Construction Field installing door frames and windows
  • Associate degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
  • Prior experience as a Glazier installing glass doors or windows and carpentry experience
