Job Title: Overhead Door Technician

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Door Technician to join our team at Tedford Overhead Doors Ltd. As an Overhead Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • Cellular phone
  • Gloves
