Job Title: Automotive Refinish Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Refinish Technician to join our team at 24Hr Collision Center.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Automotive Refinish Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles to their original condition.

The ideal candidate will have experience with painting and refinishing techniques, as well as knowledge of body repair procedures. You will also be required to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Plan repair work to be performed, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Clean and maintain the workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards
  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mix paint and apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in automotive body repair and refinishing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of body repair procedures and painting techniques
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Salary Estimate
