About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Devereaux Property Management Services Ltd. as a key member of our financial operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting

Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality in our financial operations.

Financial Transaction Management

Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain the integrity of our financial systems.

Team Leadership

Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments and lead a team of 5-10 people.

Financial Planning and Administration

Plan, set up and administer accounting systems, and prepare payroll.

Financial Compliance

Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries, and maintain compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree in a related field.

Experience

5 years or more of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Computer and Technology

Proficient in accounting software and other financial systems.

Transportation and Travel

Public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, efficient, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
