Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Devereaux Property Management Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and providing technical advice to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of accounting functions.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial information.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
